It was about this person who stayed in a house and the moment she went to outside, this laughing kept on going. What is significant about this however, is that Emma has been able to describe in writing what she had heard and seen on the television, ‘not like yours or mine, we would laugh for a bit and then stop but this went on and on and on’.

It takes time to organise and plan a classroom and curriculum where this type of active learning is the norm. It also takes enthusiasm, knowledge of how children learn and a willingness to reflect and to change.
